As Angels having a human adventure, sometimes you get caught in the busyness and drama of life. I want to remind you that this is only natural, and it is perfectly OK! The whole point of the human adventure is to experience in its fullness what it is to be human. That means that sometimes you will get lost in the forgetting it means that you will believe the illusions of the world you are in and get caught by fear. The pace of life has accelerated and there always feels as if there is so much to be done and not enough time to do it and as humans you are incredibly good at putting unnecessary pressures upon yourself. This in turn leads to judgement and self-criticism when you feel you have not done ‘enough’ or done ‘the right things’ with the precious time you have.
As a spiritual being having a human adventure, you will also have moments of awareness, moments of remembrance – when you see through the illusion, the forgetting and rather than celebrating these moments of freedom or remembrance you will then beat yourself up because you also have not been doing enough ‘spiritual work’. You will chastise yourself for not having done your meditation or yoga or other spiritual practice regularly or often enough.
I want you to know that WE, the Angels do not judge you, we do not keep score of what you have been doing or not doing, how many moments of awareness, how many moments of clarity or remembrance you have had – we are just delighted & celebrate when you do.
We understand that right now on your planet there is a lot to drag you back into the forgetting, there are so many daily challenges and for many of your reading this life will be more of a struggle than it has been for a while.
So, is it any wonder that you are focussing on doing your best to make your human life work? Of course not! We totally understand and this message is not to put any pressure on you, but more to give you the permission, that IT IS ALL OK. YOU ARE DOING REMARKABLY WELL CONSIDERING!
All we ask is that you do what you can, when you can. When you have a moment of remembrance, what might you do with that? When you feel your heart break out of compassion for another being upon your planet, what do you do to follow your heart and act? When you have a quiet moment that give you an opportunity to reflect, what do you choose to reflect upon? When you wake up one morning and feel the call of the heart to do your spiritual practice, follow that call. When you are ending your day and you wish to give thanks for it, then say your prayers, do your meditation, do your puja and thank the universe for it.
When the busyness of life subsides (which it occasionally will) ask yourself how you would like your life to be really. Ask yourself what you’d like to do more of, what brings you joy, happiness and peace. Ask yourself what makes your heart sing and do more of those things.
By doing these things, by using the brief moments of awakening during your busy lives, you are doing what you can to make the most of those moments. Sure you may well quickly forget again and get caught back up in the drama of life – but over time the more you do what you can in those moments of awareness and remembrance the more those moments will give rise to other moments, and before you know it you have more moments of remembrance and awareness and life will feel more and more alive and purposeful.
So, do what you can, when you can. Be kind to yourself when you can’t or don’t remember that each remembrance is something to celebrate – before you know it your life will be one big celebration. So, love being human, enjoy your human adventure to the full, and do what you can to remember and honour your spiritual self too.
All my love, Emmanuel
